Manufacturing Engineering Trimaster’s Manufacturing Engineering capabilities include: Solid Modeling, which allows production of parts from 3-D models, rather than detail drawings; Rapid Prototyping, typically within days of receiving drawings or solid models; Pro-active Down-costing to reduce piece cost, transportation costs and transaction costs.

Precision Machining High speed precision milling can be accomplished on one of our 22 Vertical and Horizontal CNC Machining Centers. Trimaster can do precision turning from 0.020” to over 16” on either one of our 12 CNC Swiss-style lathes or one of our 13 CNC Turning Centers, to tolerances of 0.0002” of an inch and surface finishes as smooth as 16µ inch. We have a full complement of surface, cylindrical and centerless grinders for tighter tolerances. We manufacture anything from precision shafts for paper handling applications to precision milled components for digital projection equipment.

Elastomer Molding Elastomer molding of various compounds, including EPDM, Neoprene, Nitrile, Natural Rubber, Poly Isoprene, Silicone, and Urethane can be undertaken on one of our 8 transfer molding presses. Elastomer precision grinding and profiling to tolerances of ± 0.0002” is obtainable on our cylindrical or customer CNC grinders. Precision rubber rollers and other elastomer precision rollers manufactured by Trimaster can be found in ATMs, mailroom equipment and photocopiers.

Sheet Metal Fabrication and Metal Finishing A nine-axis CNC press brake and precision laser cut blanks, with tolerances of 0.005”, allow Trimaster to repeatedly run complex sheet metal fabrications for both prototypes and production runs. We also have in-house capability to weld, flame heat treat, clean and de-burr, and apply cold black oxide and chromate conversion coatings.

Value Added Assembly Work Positive-pressure assembly areas and automated assembly capabilities facilitate the assembly of complex, tight tolerance value added components by Trimaster’s well trained and customer specialized staff.
